Celebration of North Indian Pahadi Cuisine
Chef Mukesh Singh Baroli
At Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea, our 25th anniversary chef series continues with a deeply personal menu from Chef Mukesh Singh Baroli. His Celebration of North Indian Pahadi Cuisine is a £35 six-dish sharing feast inspired by the mountain food of Uttarakhand.
Pahadi cuisine is understated and seasonal, relying on time, care and technique rather than heavy spicing. This menu reflects that philosophy with dishes built on memory, land and quiet precision. Expect flavours that comfort rather than overwhelm, showcasing traditional methods adapted for modern dining.
Chef Mukesh grew up watching his father cook and developed his craft in some of India’s most respected kitchens before joining The Cinnamon Collection in 2022. Under the guidance of Chef Vivek Singh and Chef Rakesh Nair, he has deepened his understanding of refinement while preserving authenticity. This menu is his homage to where he comes from.
Served in a communal sharing style under the iconic Battersea arches, it invites guests to experience mountain flavours in a warm, contemporary setting.
As part of our wider 25th anniversary regional celebration across London, the Battersea menu complements Himalayan cuisine in Richmond, Uttarakhand in Covent Garden, Bengali cuisine in the City and Western Ghats cooking at The Cinnamon Club.
For those searching for regional North Indian cuisine in Battersea beyond the usual, this is an experience rooted in honesty and pride.
