Modern Nepalese Dining by Santosh Shah

Location Cinnamon Kitchen City
Date November & December
Time 6:30pm
After Santosh Shah’s incredibly successful five-week modern Nepalese pop up at Cinnamon Kitchen City, we have been inundated with requests to add extra dates… so we did! Adding a total of five weeks to the pop-up across November and December, Santosh will cook his fifteen-course tasting menu for just 16 people per sitting, ensuring an intimate and interactive experience at the restaurant’s open plan kitchen counter. Diners will be taken on a culinary journey through the Himalayas, feasting on innovative, fine-dining Nepalese dishes that are rarely seen in London. Inspired by the food and heritage of Santosh’s birth town Siraha, in Nepal, each dish has been modernised and elevated to reflect Santosh’s unique style of cooking. Guests will be treated to an AYLA cocktail on arrival, an authentic Nepalese serve made with fermented rice wine, before feasting on innovative dishes such as Nepali spiced chargrilled octopus with bhang ko chutney, Hans ko choila - duck breast salad – and chicken momo – authentic steamed Nepalese dumplings transformed with added pickled cucumber and caviar.
